The professionals to involve in a PDAL
A PDAL touches regulated professions. Here is who does what, and how we introduce the right professional at the right time.
Lawyer
They file and plead the appeal before the president of the commercial chamber, and advise on the next steps and on the officers' liability. They are the first professional to involve if the procedure is open.
Accountant
They prepare the annual accounts for the missing years and prepare their filing. They also keep the ongoing books once the company is back in order.
Fiduciary or domiciliation lawyer
Domiciliation is a regulated activity, provided by a lawyer or an authorised professional. It gives the company a registered office.
Notary
They act for deeds that require a notarial act, for example certain dissolution or liquidation decisions depending on the company's form.
Liquidator
In a voluntary liquidation, the shareholders appoint a liquidator, sometimes a lawyer or fiduciary.
How we introduce them
You describe the situation. We select suitable professionals and coordinate their work. Each professional acts under their own responsibility, with their own engagement letter. We may receive a fee from a professional we introduce, and we tell you before any introduction.
Frequently asked questions
Can you choose for me?
We propose one or more professionals. You remain free to choose, or to use your own.
Do the fees go through you?
No. You pay each professional directly. We hold no client funds.
Is a lawyer needed for every PDAL?
An appeal needs a lawyer. To put the company in order before or outside an appeal, the needs depend on the situation.
